Dancing between futurism and baroque, this cyberpunk painting series is about vulnerability. Broken mirror, burned chiffon and destroyed canvas represent emotions which cannot be contained, they would rather be expressed. Contrasting shades of blue and red insist on being seen, remembered, even loved. The creation of these paintings were experimental - I would find inspiration in the most unexpected places such as 90s broken TV or shattered glass of vine contrasted with Parisian balanced and symmetrical architecture. This is how ,,Modern Baroque” was born.
